LoadCentral Advisory Regarding SMS Confirmation Message

Recently, retailers have been experiencing from reloading via SMS, like not receiving confirmation, etc.. Here's the official advisory from LoadCentral:

We have been experiencing too much transactions that we have not anticipated. The volume of daily transactions are way above our projections for this year. Our tech team is disabling from time to time some tools on the web tools of our retailers, sub-dealers and dealers to avoid swamping the system. Rest assured though that we are doing something about it. We have already purchased new sets of servers, co-located another rack at e-PLDT’s Vitro Data Center and our programmers have been working on our new core for the past month. This new system core will address all the issues that we are currently facing. We are scheduled to deploy this by late November.

[FAQ] What to do if the buyer didn’t receive the e-load / e-Pin?

What if the buyer didn’t receive the e-load? Or e-PIN? Here's what the retailer should do:

Contact Customer Support and provide the following:

Trace Number and date of transaction if there is a confirmation of the sale.

For eload transaction that are not successful, reversals of amount deducted from the retailer will be made within 24 hours.
For e-PINs that are not received by the buyers, the retailer should use the Resend feature of LoadCentral:

For web tool users, just type the buyer's mobile # on the 'Resend Buyer's PIN' box and click the bar.
For SMS users, just type: Resend<space>retailer's First Level (FL) or SMS password <space>buyer's mobile #. Send to any LoadCentral Access Number.

Note: The Resend feature will only send the LAST e-PIN product purchased by the buyer. It will also not work with e-load transactions.

Advantages of using the LoadCentral Webtool

As a LoadCentral retailer, you can sell load products in two (2) ways: via SMS and via Webtool. Among the two, I highly recommend the use of the LoadCentral Webtool to all my retailers because of the following advantages:

No SMS cost since transaction is via web interface.
Faster and more efficient since it by-passes our access SMS #'s.
For the e-PIN that was just sold, the details are displayed on the PC monitor. The retailer can just write it in a piece of paper in the event that there are delays in SMS.
Even if all the carriers' SMS systems are down, the retailer can still dispense e-PINs by selling to his own account.
A retailer can do advance selling to himself of fast-movers. He can either write it in pieces of paper or print the e-PINs. He can sell a maximum of 10 e-PINs of the same product denomination per transaction.
A static IP address offers the best security for the retailer since transaction using the web tool can only be done in his shop. The DSL ISP normally provides this.
In case the LoadCentral website (www.loadcentral.net) is not accessible, the retailer can directly access the URL by logging in at https://125.5.123.144/wizard.

Mini-contest # 3: Lucky Wallet Reloader

This is our 3rd mini-contest for our 4th year anniversary celebration, which is really quite easy.

Retailers who have bought/replenished at least P500 loadwallet per every replenishment from e-LoadBiz (subdealer hannah88) starting August 1 until 31 will automatically be qualified and will receive 1 coupon for the raffle. The lucky wallet reloader will win P100 loadwallet to be loaded on his/her retailer account.

Here's the result of the raffle:
There were 153 qualified entries for Mini-contest #3. A random generator from Random.org was used to picked up a number. The result was 96.

At first, the list of qualified entries are listed chronologically by date. Then it was randomized 4 times. The retailer on the 96th spot was the Lucky Wallet Reloader. Below is the screenshot of the final winner:

Please be informed that I will not be available to attend any loadwallet purchase verification and reloading, and process new activation on May 25 (Wednesday) until May 29, 2011 because I will be attending some important matters and I will not be able to be online on these dates process any requests. All regular services by e-LoadBiz will resume on May 30 (8:30am).

To those who will buy loadwallet, please send your payment and notification on or before May 24, 2011 (Cut-off time: 4:45pm). Gcash Payment Method Now Accepted Again

Update (4/11/2011) - GCASH payment method in now accepted again.

(April 4, 2011) Advisory to all my retailers and clients: Please be informed that GCASH payment method for loadwallet replenishment is temporarily not accepted due to the recent withdrawal problem with my Gcash Card. I tried to withdraw funds with my Gcash Card, received a sms notification that Gcash was deducted from my account but no money came out from the ATM. I reported it to Gcash Hotline and they told me that it will take 10 banking days before it could be refunded to my GCash account. So as much as possible, I will not accept Gcash payments until the problem has been already resolved. Hoping for your understanding..

~~I will post updates as soon as it is available again.. For the meantime, please use other payment methods available, i.e. Smartmoney & Bank deposit (BPI/BDO/Unionbank). Sorry for the inconvenience.~~

Loadcentral Webtool Locking Security Feature

All users of the LoadCentral web tool who have registered a mobile number as their account can deny any unauthorized access by simply sending a text message to LoadCentral access numbers. This is particularly useful for accounts that have no static IP addresses and are currently set on dynamic IP. At the end of the day, a dealer, sub-dealer or retailer can lock his web tool so even if the username and password were compromised, nobody will be able to access the account thru the web. Periodic changing of password is still a good practice though.

To lock the web tool, please type:

Send to LoadCentral access number.

Retailer will receive a confirmation message from the system:
LoadCentral: Weblock status was successfully changed. Your account is now locked.

Lately, some of my retailers, especially those who have just been registered and were trying to log on to the webtool for the first time encountered getting this error message: "Invalid SL Password". When logging in the webtool (https://loadcentral.net/index.jsp) for the first time, please use the default password. The default webtool password is 123456. After you have successfully logged on, please change your webtool password immediately. Please remember that your FL password (password for SMS) must be different from your SL password (webtool password) so that your webtool account will not be blocked.

It is also advised to regularly change your account password and check for keyloggers installed on your PCs by using Anti-spyware utilities to avoid any unauthorized access of your accounts.

LoadCentral does NOT ask for your passwords. Please don't give your passwords to anybody else, not even to me, ok? :P
